2025 F1 Spanish GP start time
F1 completes the final leg of the European triple-header with the return to the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona this weekend.
For now, it is scheduled to be the final Spanish GP at the track, with a new street circuit in Madrid taking that moniker from 2026, although Barcelona does have a contract for next season.
Max Verstappen enters as the defending race winner, having won every year since 2022, with he and Lewis Hamilton the only two drivers to win since 2016. This year, new flexi-wing rules are being introduced by the FIA to try and stamp out the phenomenon once and for all. See below for all session start times in Barcelona.
The 2025 F1 Spanish Grand Prix weekend takes place from Friday, May 30th to Sunday, June 1st, marking the ninth race of the season. Friday features the first and second free practice sessions.
Saturday begins with the third free practice session, followed by the all-important qualifying session at 15:00 BST. The F1 Spanish Grand Prix itself starts on Sunday, June 1st at 14:00 BST.
